The Texas GOP actually wants to make it a felony to issue a marriage license to same-sex couples. Normally I’m completely unimpressed by anything or anyone even remotely related to Texas, but this shows they’ve got balls. Crazy, dangerous, and self-destructive balls, but balls nonetheless. Here are some other juicy turdbits from their latest hate manifesto, as posted on huffingtonpost.com:
We believe that the practice of homosexuality tears at the fabric of society, contributes to the breakdown of the family unit, and leads to the spread of dangerous, communicable diseases.
How about gay sex in public restrooms or cheating on your wife with a rent-a-boy? You Republican troglodytes sure seem to have a corner on that lately. Just keep tap-tap-tappin’ those feet, baby!
Homosexual behavior is contrary to the fundamental, unchanging truths that have been ordained by God, recognized by our country’s founders, and shared by the majority of Texans.
How about getting married, having 3-4 kids, then fucking around and smoking crystal meth with male prostitutes in hotel rooms? Sounds like wholesome, Christian family-oriented behavior to me.
Homosexuality must not be presented as an acceptable “alternative” lifestyle in our public education and policy, nor should “family” be redefined to include homosexual “couples.”
Here, let me suggest a slight re-wording: The GOP must not be presented as having any ground in reality whatsoever, having been led by neocon religious zealots into a state of unbridled hatred for non-Christians, non-whites, and homosexuals. There…I did that one for free, but the next one will cost ya.
Such ignorant, loathsome people. You’d think they’d be more worried about the oil their politicians helped bring to their shores than what two people do in their own bedroom.
