Those of you who regularly read tech blogs and forums will no doubt recognize the The Apple Product Cycle. Rumor mills, Mac haters, Apple fetishists, whiny technical nitpickers, fluctuating Apple store inventories, “nerd porn” of disassembled products, inflated expectations…it’s all there, and it’s quite a fun read. The guy really summed up the whole cycle, leaving out none of the sordid details.
If you’re an avid user of BitTorrent for downloading T.V. shows (guilty!), then you may want to read this little post about filtering out hostile IP addresses. By “hostile” IPs, I mean those attached to the MPAA, RIAA, military, and any other anti-piracy or government dirtball who may be monitoring what you download. By filtering these out, you’ll also cut down on the number of fake torrents out there. (The TV folks are notorious for putting “empty” video files out there for download, making us weed through several torrents before get something legit. The bastards!)
