Gizmodo reported yesterday that Apple’s iTunes is about to do the unthinkable:  it’s going to start serving up banner ads.  Dear God, no!  There really is no escape.  In the original AdAge article, one marketing scumbag actually said, “We are looking at new technology that will provide a much richer advertising experience and hope to roll that out very soon.”  A much richer advertising experience?  What about the advertising viewing experience?  Yeah, that still pretty much sucks.

I don’t want to see ads in my iTunes, even if it’s only while I browse the music store.  I’ll block those IP addresses if I have to, dammit!
