Bring it on.

So the new Pope has called gay marriage “anarchy.”

“Today’s various forms of dissolution of marriage, free unions, trial marriages, as well as the pseudo-matrimonies between people of the same sex are instead expressions of anarchic freedom which falsely tries to pass itself off as the true liberation of man,” he said.

While his statement is completely and utter idiocy, it’s somewhat amusing to see hysterical, hair-pulling church people shaken to their very core by the idea of two people of the same sex having a piece of paper that says they’re married.  Same-sex couples already live together and raise children together, but once they receive this little piece of paper, the church will somehow suffer total annihilation.  These guys could write great sci-fi!

  1. Cute. I know:
    Knock knock.
    Who’s there.
Can you drive if you’re gay?
Not in Italy, HA HA HA HA HA HA!,2106,3305633a4560,00.html
Love how in Italy being gay can affect one’s ability to drive a car.
The gem, of course, is that the court’s opinion of the gay man is that he is suffering from “a personality disturbance.”
Having been to Italy a dozen times, I assure you that the only personality disturbances I saw was while visiting that tiny little place called The Vatican.
