ZDnet has a great little interview with a guy who is a huge thorn in the side of spyware makers. He deconstructs their software, figures out how it operates, and makes his findings very public. Ohhhh, they don’t like that one bit. Talk about stirring up a hornet’s nest! I love it. Personally I’ve always thought that this sort of thing would make a fascinating career: fighting spyware/spam/viruses, pissing off and/or shutting down the companies who produce them, etc. Especially those companies who install their crapware via kids’ websites…how evil is that?
