(Posted a week late due to network issues)

I bestow this title upon her after her latest stunt of declaring National Disown Your Son Day shortly after National Coming Out Day. Ho-ho, so clever, Ann! You and your Adam’s apple have really struck conservative fucktard gold with that one. Congrats.

Sorry, is that title too harsh? It’s true, though. I’ve seen the pictures. It ain’t pretty. But she’s earned that title with the vast amount of hateful bile she’s spat at gay folks and liberals in general over the years. If Satan were real, you just know that, spiritually speaking, she’d be servicing Satan’s seven schlongs two or three at a time, gobblin’ like there’s no tomorrow. I’d actually feel sad for her if I didn’t think she’d kick me down a flight of stairs for loving another man.

Yesterday, she took to Twitter in response to last Thursday being National Coming Out Day. That really has to get under the skin of people like Coulter, all those gay people making their existence known. So Coulter, the darling of the gay right (GOProud called her “the right-wing Judy Garland”), vented via tweet, declaring that, since gay youth came out last Thursday, yesterday was “national ‘disown your son’ day.”

Get it? Get it?? Because so many LGBT youth are disowned by their families after coming out! Hardy har har har! Isn’t that hi-freaking-larious!?

Another Memorial Day has come and gone.  Usually I avoid the hype and just enjoy my day off, which I did…but I also came across this issue which exploded over the weekend and got everyone’s panties in a tight little bunch.  A commentator on MSNBC questioned America’s practice of calling every dead soldier a “hero”, wondering if such a thing tends to (perhaps unintentionally) glorify war.  And oh, did he get raked over the coals for that!  Imagine:  speaking an opinion, asking a sensitive question, right there for all to hear!  Why, he oughta be burned in effigy!

It’s an interesting question, though, and one I’ve asked myself many times:  does getting killed in the line of duty automatically make you a hero?  Maybe…or maybe not, depending on the circumstances.  What if someone is killed by stepping on a mine while walking down some road in Afghanistan–is that heroic?  His/her family and friends would likely say “Of course it’s heroic, you insensitive asshole!”  But is it really?  I wonder.  How heroic is that compared to, say, a fireman hauling two kids out of a burning building?  Or troops fighting an actual threat to our country rather than a war based on lies and greed for oil?  Are there degrees of heroism in cases like this?  Probably.

Also, some think that simply being in the military automatically makes one a hero–even though joining the military is usually a choice people make.  But if everyone’s a hero, then nobody is.  Know what I mean?  It’s like those wussy parents who don’t want their precious spawn to hear the word “loser” when their team loses a game, because “everyone’s a winner!”  Well, then nobody’s a winner.  So maybe we’re using this term “hero” a little too broadly.

But that’s just my brain blathering questions about stuff.  What do I know?  I’ve never been in the military, so obviously (as someone on Facebook snippily inferred) I’m not entitled to any opinion on the matter.  I don’t claim to have an answer because there really isn’t one, just peoples’ opinions and interpretation of the hero thing.  It’s an interesting discussion, don’t you think?  Too bad you risk being burned at the stake for asking these questions, like this poor guy did–as if the subject can never be discussed, as if nobody can ever pose questions about the military and its effect on our society because the military is beyond question.  That’s not a good road to start down.

That’s right, America!  According to the people who run a bumper sticker company, you can safely call anyone a nigger because it’s just not a bad word anymore.  After all, their bumper sticker “2012:  Don’t Re-Nig!” is a fast seller, so it must be OK, right?

Paula Smith of Hinesville, Georgia has a company called Stickatude.com. And they’re selling their own version of an anti-Obama bumper sticker that reads “Don’t Re-Nig 2012.” Ms. Smith told me in a telephone conversation on Saturday afternoon that the bumper sticker has been in their inventory since June 2010, but just in the last few days it’s started selling. The price is $3. Ms. Smith insisted that  the bumper sticker is not racist. I asked her about the “N” word, for which “nig” is the shortened version. “According to the dictionary [the N word] does not mean black. It means a low down, lazy, sorry, low down person. That’s what the N word means.”

This, my friends, is what happens when people who are still waiting to evolve thumbs get involved in politics.  The other stickers on her site aren’t quite as racist, but they’re really, really dumb all the same.  One actually says, “As long as there are test, there will be prayer in public schools.”  What the fuck does that mean?  And shouldn’t “test” be plural?  Stupid people make my head hurt.

Oh, this is going to be a nasty election–the racists and bigots who have been sleeping somewhat quietly under their pile of cow shit are slowly awakening and coming out to barf their insane Dark Ages ideas all over us once again.  It’s gonna be a bumpy ride.  Don’t believe me?  Here’s a parting bit of elegantly-worded wisdom from the Nig Woman that might convince you:

I just want someone that’s going to help the United States and not give it other countries all the time. And stop giving the immigrants the benefits that most Americans inside their own states can’t even get because they’re giving it others who don’t even live here as an American.

Yeah, whatever.  Do let us know if those thumbs eventually come in, will you?

You might have noticed that the death of Andrew Breitbart, right-wing nutjob extraordinaire and provocateur douchenozzle, has gone without mention on my site.  Surely this is someone I’d have something to say about!

But today I realized I didn’t have much to say about him.  Why waste more time on people like that, especially when they’re dead?  Enough has been said about him, it’s time to move on…until the next big-mouthed conservatard comes along, that is.

(OK, maybe I did have a few parting words about him…)

Arizona’s batshit-crazy sheriff, a megalomaniacal  master of racial, political, and sexist asshattery, is still suckling desperately at the withered teats of the “OMG OBAMA’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE IS LIKE FAKE AND STUFF OMG!” cow.  Jesus effing Christ on a cracker–somebody commit this asshole to an institution before he hurts himself!

America’s self-proclaimed toughest sheriff finds himself entangled these days in his own thorny legal troubles: a federal grand jury probe over alleged abuse of power, Justice Department accusations of racial profiling and revelations that his department didn’t adequately investigate hundreds of Arizona sex-crime cases.

Rather than seek cover, though, Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is seeking to grab the spotlight in the same unorthodox fashion that has helped boost his career as a nationally known lawman.

Arpaio on Thursday unveiled preliminary results of an investigation, conducted by members of his volunteer cold-case posse, into the authenticity of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate, a controversy that has been widely debunked but which remains alive in the eyes of some conservatives.

And, of course, the right wing loooooves him.  They can’t get enough of him…that’s why they keep electing him sheriff in Arizona so he can continue his rampaging abuse of power and wastes of tax money like these “special projects.”

GOP presidential candidates have courted him for his endorsement throughout the primary season. At last week’s GOP presidential debate in Arizona, Arpaio won loud cheers. During a question about Arizona’s border woes, Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum said the government ought to give local police agencies the chance to enforce immigration law as Arpaio has.

This excellent article in Rolling Stone shows just how far some will go to demonize homosexuals.  In this case, an entire town (in Michelle Bachmann’s home district, no less) got into the act, forbidding school teachers from even approaching the subject in their classes, no matter what the context.  The trail of teenage suicide bodies they left behind did nothing but embolden their religion-fueled orgy of hate against anything and anyone associated with the “gay lifestyle.”

This shit will make your blood boil, and the below excerpt is only a taste of what the full article delves into.

LGBT students were stunned to be told for the first time about the existence of the neutrality policy that had been responsible for their teachers’ behavior. But no one was more outraged to hear of it than Tammy Aaberg. Six weeks after her son’s death, Aaberg became the first to publicly confront the Anoka-Hennepin school board about the link between the policy, anti-gay bullying and suicide. She demanded the policy be revoked. “What about my parental rights to have my gay son go to school and learn without being bullied?” Aaberg asked, weeping, as the board stared back impassively from behind a raised dais.

Anti-gay backlash was instant. Minnesota Family Council president Tom Prichard blogged that Justin’s suicide could only be blamed upon one thing: his gayness. “Youth who embrace homosexuality are at greater risk [of suicide], because they’ve embraced an unhealthy sexual identity and lifestyle,” Prichard wrote. Anoka-Hennepin conservatives formally organized into the Parents Action League, declaring opposition to the “radical homosexual” agenda in schools. Its stated goals, advertised on its website, included promoting Day of Truth, providing resources for students “seeking to leave the homosexual lifestyle,” supporting the neutrality policy and targeting “pro-gay activist teachers who fail to abide by district policies.”

Asked on a radio program whether the anti-gay agenda of her ilk bore any responsibility for the bullying and suicides, Barb Anderson, co-author of the original “No Homo Promo,” held fast to her principles, blaming pro-gay groups for the tragedies. She explained that such “child corruption” agencies allow “quote-unquote gay kids” to wrongly feel legitimized. “And then these kids are locked into a lifestyle with their choices limited, and many times this can be disastrous to them as they get into the behavior which leads to disease and death,” Anderson said. She added that if LGBT kids weren’t encouraged to come out of the closet in the first place, they wouldn’t be in a position to be bullied.

All across America, right-wing hatebags are having a collective conniption–a rather stupid conniption, at that!

There’s no gentle way to put it: People who give in to racism and prejudice may simply be dumb, according to a new study that is bound to stir public controversy.

The research finds that children with low intelligence are more likely to hold prejudiced attitudes as adults. These findings point to a vicious cycle, according to lead researcher Gordon Hodson, a psychologist at Brock University in Ontario. Low-intelligence adults tend to gravitate toward socially conservative ideologies, the study found. Those ideologies, in turn, stress hierarchy and resistance to change, attitudes that can contribute to prejudice, Hodson wrote in an email to LiveScience.

“Prejudice is extremely complex and multifaceted, making it critical that any factors contributing to bias are uncovered and understood,” he said.

The findings combine three hot-button topics.”They’ve pulled off the trifecta of controversial topics,” said Brian Nosek, a social and cognitive psychologist at the University of Virginia who was not involved in the study. “When one selects intelligence, political ideology and racism and looks at any of the relationships between those three variables, it’s bound to upset somebody.”

Tee-hee!  I love it when conservative turds (conservaturds?) like this float to the surface.  Just another closeted hypocrite caught in a very public way.  I’m done feeling sorry for these assholes.  (Oh wait, I never really did…)

I hope he bought a giant dildo that gave his cornhole a nasty skin rash.

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. — Receipts show Southaven Mayor Greg Davis, a Republican who ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2008 on a family-values platform, charged the city $67 for a purchase at a gay sex shop in Canada.

The Mississippi auditor on Nov. 2 demanded Davis pay back more than $170,000 for personal expenses billed to taxpayers. There are no criminal charges from the auditor’s investigation. The FBI confirmed Dec. 7 that it is investigating Davis after the auditor’s probe showed possible violations of federal laws.

So Christians can’t be terrorists, eh?  They’re too kind, too caring, too accepting to commit heinous acts of destruction, right?  I beg to differ!  This one firebombed a mosque in Oregon.  He’s a religious fucktard waging his own “jihad” against non-Christians, and he’s not the only one out there willing to do such a thing.

Court documents show that three weeks after the mosque firebombing, in unrelated encounters with police, Crawford ranted about Muslims, said Christians are capable of jihad and told an officer he resembled President Barack Obama.

“You look like Obama. You are a Muslim like him. Jihad goes both ways. Christians can jihad too,” a court document quotes Crawford as telling a McMinnville officer Dec. 14.

The document says Crawford told officers “only Christians could understand him, that he was a Christian warrior that they were persecuting,” and that “you will never know the truth about the mosque.”

Crawford also said he did not torch the mosque, according to the affidavit.

Shortly after the terrorist attack on Norway, it was reported that the shooter/bomber was a radical Christian “at war” with Islam (and foreigners in general).  For a while now I’ve believed that at some point we’re going to see Christian whackjobs begin to mimic the destruction of extremist fundamentalist Muslims.  Could this actually be happening?  Events like the Norway bombing and the mosque burning in Oregon make it plain as day, to me, that this is a very real danger.

Some people have a hard time picturing this, obviously.  Here’s a little exchange I had with a someone on Facebook when we began commenting on a story posted by a friend of mine.  She simply couldn’t imagine a Christian being able to do such a thing–to her, he was simply crazy.  But to me, religion played a major role.  She began to get really upset so I backed off, but the last comment (by a newcomer to the conversation) really nailed the argument nicely. :)   My comments begin with “You don’t have to be crazy to kill for God.”

A pair of girder beams that happened to collapse into the shape of a crucifix during the 9/11 bombings may soon be installed at the soon-to-open memorial.  Of course, seeing any two sticks crossed anywhere in nature automatically means it’s a sign from God, right?  Of course!  Because only a being of infinite knowledge, wisdom, and presence in the universe would give proof of his existence by such random, roundabout means.  *snort*  But I digress…

An outspoken atheist has challenged the erection (?) of this so-called crucifix, and ohhhhh the Christians are angry.  In fact, they’re angry enough to kill.  That is, judging by the Fox News Facebook page, which was flooded with death threats once they aired the story.  That’s right, people are willing to make public death threats over this.

Personally, if they must install a religious symbol there, I think there should be one for each religion represented by the victims, since nearly half weren’t Christians.  Or don’t put anything there at all, just let it be.  But regardless of what you think of the issue, in no way does it need to devolve into death threats.  But I guess that’s where some people go right off the bat.  My, such tolerance!  Be sure and look at the screenshots he’s posted as proof.  Stay classy, Foxtards!

The Fox News Facebook page got over 8,000 death threats posted on its wall after the Communications Director for the American Atheists, Blair Scott, appeared on the network’s “America Live” discussing the group’s lawsuit hoping to stop the erection of a crucifix at the World Trade Center Memorial.
