Did you vote for Bush? Then you voted for the NSA’s ginormous database of phone calls. Yes, you pretty much voted away our privacy. Gee, thanks. Sure, they say they’re not eavesdropping, and they say they’re not connecting names and addresses to those calls, but we all know they’re full of shit. They’re also tracking phone calls made by media folks, just to keep those people in line and make sure they say only what Bush allows them to. Yay for freedom of speech!
So I hope you red voters are happy with what you’ve brought upon this country, because we’re stuck with it and Bush is blocking all investigations into his illegal spying. Be careful of what you say and who you say it to, because you’re also saying it to him.

So Clinton admitted to illegal wiretaps and coercing phone companies into turning over their records? I don’t recall that, though I was an ignunt college student at the time….

It’s not mine; I’ve seen it on bumper stickers lately.
It’s amusing to me that whenever somebody criticizes Bush, his supporters respond with, “Well, what about when Clinton…?” Who cares? You’re assuming we liked Clinton in the first place. Does it distress you when you can’t group people into nice, neat, tidy little categories and expect them to act accordingly? I’m your worst nightmare: I’m a vegatarian who wears leather, a pro-lifer who supports a woman’s right to choose, a pacifist who has killed (in self-defense) and would do it again if cornered, and an independent who hates Clinton, Bush, and all these other Republicrats out there.
Besides, those who use the “Clinton did it” arguments are really just saying, “I have no compelling argument, but I want you to agree with me, so I’ll grasp at Clinton’s agenda and hope you’re as dimwitted as I am and swallow my lack of anything to say.”

Yeah, I’d like to see some proof that “Clinton did it” anyway. You can’t just say “Clinto did it” and run away without supporting the statement. And I want to see real proof, not just something Bill O’Reilly or Anne Coulter wrote.
LOL! Don’t get me started on that Ann Coulter bitch! Years ago, when I was a student journalist, and before she became famous, I went to a student writer’s workshop in Los Angeles. She was one of the speakers, and while other speakers offered encouragement and advice, she paced back and forth proclaiming that because we were students, we were afraid to write anything of real value, and we must overcome our fear if we want to be writers, and then she proclaimed (having not even looked at anyone’s writing samples), that we were inferior to her. Someone in the back shouted, “WHO THE FUCK IS THIS BITCH, AND WHY THE FUCK IS SHE HERE?” The next day, someone got ahold of one of her writing samples, and we all had a good laugh.
Yeah, she’s one crazy-ass bitch all right.
My only point was that Bush was merely continuing a rogram that was implemented under Clinton. I don’t give a rats ass if anybody liked HIM or not, just asking. I would guess by the vitriol that I hit a tender nerve there, specially since the poster didn’t even use a name! Lol! And if you thought I was a Bush supporter, you’d be as dumb as your post sounded.
As to the numbers, they don’t belong to us. They belong to the provider. They have been selling numbers for years. Nobody complained then. And it’s just numbers. No conversations. With all the real BS out there, it just doesn’t make sense to me to get our panties in a bunch over this stuff.
