Awww, how cute:  Yahoo has decided once again to try to compete with Google by copying its gigabyte-for-email strategy.  For years, Yahoo only offered 6MB of space.  This was much better than Hotmail’s paltry 2MB, but still not quite enough.  Then they increased it to 10MB…but when Gmail offered 1000MB in April of last year, Yahoo practically shit their pants.  A few weeks later they grudgingly upped their storage to 250MB for free users, and Hotmail follwed in their footsteps.  Sorry, not good enough.  But now that Gmail is poised to go all-out and let anyone sign up, Yahoo decided they’d better match it or else.  Sorry, Yahoo, I’ve already switched, and so have thousands of others.  Gmail is clean and clutter-free (no friggin’ animated ads), the spam filters catch 99% of the junk, it the interface is smooth and organized in a way that Yahoo just can’t touch.  Buh-bye, Yahoo!
